ParaState Newsletter June
June was a very rewarding month for the ParaState community.
This month, we rewarded our POLIS ambassador community of Citizens and Spartans for their outstanding contributions, shared ideas and knowledge in global conferences, and continued our rollout of ParaState communities in new corners of the globe.
Here are the highlights!
ParaState’s Michael Yuan Live at Polkadot Decoded
With much anticipation, the top-voted talk by Michael Yuan — An Ethereum Compatible WebAssembly Runtime Pallet for Al Substrate Blockchains — went live on The World of Polkadot: Decoded on May 28th. Michael did not disappoint attendees.
Michael explains why the next generation of Ethereum will not be on Ethereum but Substrate. The ParaState co-founder shares the many benefits of the modern Web Assembly architecture — in a few words: contract processing speed, optimization, customized features, more secure hack-proof design, extensible functionality and language, privacy-minded smart contracts, plug-and-play features...
If you missed it, you can still catch Michael Yuan’s Polkadot Decoded Talk on YouTube. The virtual conference, which ran from May 19–20, featured 40 talks and workshops on all things Polkadot.

Top Citizen Performers for Round 2 Rewarded
Citizens did an outstanding job during Round 2 Tasks. We’ve tallied the high scores many of you racked up while supporting the ParaState network through diverse social media tasks. Top performers will receive rewards out of the $100,000 POLIS reward pool. Special thanks to our top contributors!
List of 10 Top Testnet Validators Released
We are delighted to share ParaState's first 10 Testnet Validators List. Stay tuned for the next round, coming soon!
Would you like to become a validator?
Node operators/validators earn $STATE, the ParaState native Ethereum protocol token, in exchange for securing the network. Once you set up a ParaState node and join the testnet, you can submit your request to join the validator group.
Keep in mind that we only accept 20 applications in FCFS on a weekly basis
WasmEdge Welcomed as CNCF Sandbox Project
Many projects compete for the opportunity to be nurtured in the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) Sandbox. WasmEdge is honored to be accepted as a Sandbox project. We are the first and only WASM runtime infra project not only in the blockchain segment, but also in the whole WASM infra segment. The CNCF Sandbox promotes public visibility of projects that can add value to the CNCF mission and facilitates alignment with existing projects.
ParaState Spanish Telegram Community went live
Hablas Espanol?
As cryptocurrencies become a more important part of Latin American economies, interest in the ParaState bridge between Ethereum applications and faster, scalable blockchains is growing. In June, Latin American leaders in Argentina, Brazil, El Salvador, Panama, and Paraguay tweeted their support for cryptocurrencies.
To support our growing Latin American community, we have created a Spanish Volunteer Group on Telegram just for you.
As our Latin American friends take big steps forward towards crypto mainstream adoption, we are delighted to play a role.
OIG Research Report – What Makes ParaState Different?
OIG, a crypto project capital raising platform, sought to answer that question in a research report on ParaState in June. The report provides a useful overview of ParaState: technology, token utility, investors, and partners.
The difference was clear when ParaState won the Oasis Hackathon. The Parachain team was the first to take the full Oasis Labs privacy chain and put it on ETH and make it work with Uniswap. ParaState brilliantly demonstrated its core function: acting as a bridge between Ethereum apps and nextgen blockchains.
